Vegetable Storage Tips

Storage Method Types of Fruits and Vegetables
Store at Room Temperature Basil, Garlic, Onions, Potatoes, Rutabagas, Sweet potatoes, Shallots, Winter squash
Store at Room Temp Until Ripe, then Chill Apples, Melons, Pears, Tomatoes
Store in the Refrigerator Apples, Beets, Bell Peppers, Blueberries, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Cherries, Cilantro, Corn (whole ears in the husk), Cucumber, Dark leafy greens, Eggplant, beans, Leeks, Lettuce, Melons, Parsley, Peas, Strawberries, Summer squash, Watermelon, Zucchini
