CSA Quick Notes
- Thank you for joining us this season!
- Farm office hours are M/W 9am-12pm
- CSA Box Pick up time is 12pm-6pm on Tuesday or Friday at all sites (Backyard Farmer and Hideaway Bakery close at 6pm)
- SPRING CSA begins mid-April and it lasts for 5 weeks, through mid-May.
- SUMMER CSA begins late-May and it lasts for 24 weeks, through October.
- FALL CSA begins in November and it lasts for 4 weeks, through the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
- Bring your own bag to pick up your Crop Share. Leave the plastic totes at the pick up site.
- No show/late pick up: For best quality, we recommend picking up your share as early as possible especially on hot summer days. In special circumstances, some pick up sites have the ability to leave your share until 10am the next day in good condition. Shares not picked up by the designated times are donated to the Relief Nursery or the First Place Family Center. Email the farm if you need to pick up your share late.
- Vacations: Two deliveries per season may skipped with at least three days notice prior delivery day that you would not like to receive your share. Login to your account to request a vacation date or email the farm with the vacation date(s). We’ll credit your account $20 that you may use towards the purchase of add-on items or towards the purchase of a Fall CSA.
- To add-on items to your normal CSA box, login to your account and visit the online store. Add items to your cart. You should be able to use “credit” for your purchases if you have credit. In early June you’ll primarily find honey and enchilada sauce. Later in the season you’ll find 3-10 lb increments of peak season crops like tomatoes and cucumbers, offered to CSA members at wholesale prices.
